This blog is for anyone who served with the 146th Avn Co (RR) at Long Thanh North or any other location. If you served with 509th Group (RR) or the 224th BN Avn (RR) stop by and say Hi.
I was assined to 224th Adv Det at Long Thanh when I arrived in country 5/69. Worked finishing comp area and flight line until 146th moved 1/70. Assiagned as a u21 crew chief until left 5/70. Terry Rouhier trouhier@yahoo.com
I arrived 'in country' in July of 68' and was assigned to the 337 RR Co. with the 1st Division at Di An and then Lai Khe. After about a year I transfered to the 146th. at Davis Station and then moved to Long Thanh with the 146th leaving VN for the 3rd. and final time in Sept. or Oct. of 70'.
CW2, flew out of Saigon for the 146th from 1966 thru some of 1968. Some TDY to the 7th RR at Udorn, Thailand. Was part of the first six pilots to arrive there.

ReplyDeleteSpec 5 Sears, was at Long Thanh North Jan 1970 thru Mar 71. Was at davis station Jan 69 thru Jan 70. I was an aircraft mechanic.
